Last seasons winner Thomas Hundertpfund (pictured left), playing for Champions EC-KAC was voted YoungStar of the Year, totally picking up 17.274 votes. From October 1st, votes for the first YoungStar of the season can be cast.

Erste Bank Eishockey Liga website offers you the chance to vote for the YoungStars. Junior Players born 1987 or later are in the general voting pool. Each Month, SKY-Experts Gary Venner and Kurt Harand are hand-picking five to ten young players out of the total 75. Month by Month, you can vote for your favourite young player. http://www.erstebankliga.at/ will present the selected players in detail.

The nominees will be announced
during a SKY Sport Austria Live
coverage.


Voting mode

You, the fans, can vote the monthly winner in our poll on erstebankliga.at - The first voting starts on October 1st. The young Player with the most votes will be honoured as YoungStar of the Month and has a guaranteed shot to be voted YoungStar of the Season. Monthly winner is the young crack with most votes. The (intermediary) results will be online during the tine of the voting process. The Winner will be announced during a SKY Sports Austria Live coverage.

In March 2010, you can cast your votes for the YoungStar of the Year. The Winner Ceremony of the YoungStar of the Year Award will be done during a Playoff SKY Sports Austria Live coverage.
